On Tuesday, Mystery, of Vh1′s “The Pick Up Artist” and the book “The Game” by Neil Strauss will be releasing his latest book: “Revelation.” I’m sure many people are looking forward to the update in seduction techniques from the self-described “World’s Greatest Pick-Up Artist.”
However, if you’ve read The Game and know anything about Mystery, you’ll know that one of his greatest tools to Demonstrate Higher Value (DHV) is his use of magic tricks. Though he supposedly only uses them occassionally and never does full set, he most certainly knows the power of magic to seduce and cause curiosity in women.
BUT, will his new book talk about his use of Magic in-the-field? It’s a wonder why he’s never revealed any of his secrets of magic for his throngs of loyal fans. Maybe he wants to keep these secrets to himself. Whether he’s bound by the magician’s code of secrecy or he’s just guarding them for self, he’s very tight lipped on any specifics.
Perhaps he feels (as I do) that unless presented correctly, magic can be misused and actually do damage to your game. You see, some magic tricks are easy to learn but you can’t just jump out there and do magic for girls you’re talking to unless you’re very congruent in your game. There are some tricks to this trade and methods to this madness (sorry for the bad cliches).
